You are welcome here. There are some things that you can do even if you can't write in Haitian Creole. For example, with the help of online translation tools, you can add images to pages, check Special:RecentChanges to look for spam or obvious vandalism, or add reliable sources that support text someone else has written.
Important

Basic principles
[modifye | modifye kòd]Wikipedia is a free encyclopedia. It's for everyone. It is easy to manage and users can use their information according to the CC-BY-SA license.
- Wikipedia is open to everyone: Everyone can participate in improving their information. Just click on the link to edit this page, and then click the blue "Publish changes" button to record what you typed. You can write articles about almost any topic – chemistry, geography of a country, a singer's biography, etc. To check your writing and to practice editing, the "sandbox" is a good place for you to test your edits.
- Simple: The simpler wikitext we use on this site helps people create and modify articles. For example, just enclose a word with two square brackets [[...]] to make a link to another page, and add two apostrophes around a word to make italics. Avoid complex formatting. Alternatively, use the visual editor, which works like a normal word processing system.
- We can reuse the information: We use the CC-BY-SA license. It is a license that allows everyone to copy, edit, and distribute information on Wikipedia and other sites. We have to keep this same license for copies of copies and copies of the modifications, as we have to say that the information comes from the Wikipedias and the writers. Do not copy any copyrighted content from other websites or books into the Haitian Creole Wikipedia! This project does not permit "fair use" of copyrighted material, because we are too small to process it.
